Vadodara (Gujarat), July 18 (ANI): Gujarat government is empowering bright students through the Mukhyamantri Gyan Setu Merit Scholarship Scheme, aimed at those studying in government or grant-in-aid schools. Each year, 30,000 meritorious students receive financial aid based on their academic needs. Students like Mehul Solanki, who dreams of becoming a doctor, benefit from this support while studying in a PPP model school with hostel facilities. His classmates also aspire to serve the nation in various fields. The scheme provides ₹5,000–₹7,000 for government school students and ₹20,000–₹25,000 for private school students annually, with funds transferred via DBT. More than just financial aid, the scheme is a launchpad for young talent striving for a brighter future.
